An affectionate, I think, tribute to Michael Stipe's singing style and nonsense early lyrics. Also seems to make a pretty good approximation of R.E.M's key changes and melodic hook. fIREHOSE were formed by Mike Watt and George Hurley from the ashes of Minutemen.
