Not a million miles away from A Salty Dog. By Michael Head who was also in The Pale Fountains and Shack. Again a nautical theme and a contemplative start to my last working week before the Christmas break. From a 1997 album called The Magical World of The Strands which is now out of print and fetches astronomical prices on the net. It is a very good record. Of course, like all of Head's work it's most informed by Arthur Lee and Love but in a good way.
