Bonding with someone in a relationshup whule listening to Al Green can be an incredibly powerful experience. It happened to me and I've never entirely got over it, I think and will always think about that person whenever i listen to Al Green. There must be millions in the same predicament as I am. Does this mean that the best option is to stop listening to Al Green records. Certainly not / Don't be preposterous.
The Al Green Seventies albums are an incredible achievement. Credit to all concerned. Put one on yourself if you don't believe me. It reaches all kinds of parts which other records simply cannot reach There's something sinuous, deeply subtle and powerful going on here. Sensuality and spirituality. And hot chops !!!
