Will Sergeant - Echoes # 5 Brian Eno

Will is sly. Just as he is as a guitarist. He doesn't take the conventional Rock memoirs route. As 1980 progresses The Bunnymen's ability and power grows. They are getting more songs uner their belt and will soon  have enough for an album. They're still living in Liverpool and are part of its scene. Will describes going round to mate Paul Simpson's house on the offchance to find him and some mates tripping on LSD. He puts Eno's Music For Airports on as he waits for them to restore balance. It's an atmospheric moment that makes you want to play the record yourself.
