It seems Seattle's National Honor Society were weaned on The Stone Roses rather than Nirvana. Debut album To All The Distance Between is bizarre product indeed. Housed in a sleeve of a pair of Edwardian looking bathing beauties, it certainly hops about.
One minute sounding like a bunch of Eighties Mods inclined types like the Prisoners, Monochrome Set or The Jasmine Minks, the next like a Singalong early Seventies outfit Edison Lighthouse, the one thing they sound nothing like is a band that lives in Seattle. I wonder if they get strange looks from their neighbours. I raised an eyebrow at this but it's curiosity more than anything else.
