Of course there are more of these West Coast Dream Haze Pop bands around at the moment than you can shake a stick at, should you wish to. But Golden Daze do it as well as most. To quote Stereogum, 'The LA duo's latest track employs gauzy layers of feel-good guitars and breathy vocals in service of sparkly, melodic, shoegaze inflected rock that'll send you into mental realms you never knew existed.' Not 100 percent true perhaps , but this is a very good summary of the appeal of this stuff as you're likely to get in two minutes ten seconds.
