With Grandaddy I made the mistake of buying the wrong record, their first album Under The Western Freeway. It has its moments but is a bit patchy so I neglected its follow up The Sophtware Slump when it came out and until now. I discovered on Thursday morning on choosing to give it a listen at work, that it's a classic. A very sad record about what we've all lost in our world of hyper-technology and our mad rush to embrace and immerse ourselves in it.. This track stands for the whole very well. Brilliant!
