Hamish Hawk spent the last three years asleep according to his opening words here. Time well spent clearly. He's woken up bugged eyed as David Byrne's long lost son and if this, surely a taster for a forthcoming album, there's more to come and it should be worth waiting for.
Fear of Music / Remain in Light Talking Heads is the obvious comparison point. Every Young Buck on the block seems to be influenced by Heads, Gang of Four or Joy Division these days. No issues with that. This is fabulous. Jerky, alert, wide awake, and frantic. Afeter three years asleep, little wonder.
