I was born in Zimbabwe in 1965. My parents returned to England and Nottingham in 1972. Some culture shock for a six year old boy. The weather, the football, the music. The music certainly made an impact. An older sister having to decide between David Cassidy and Donnie Osmond and having chosen Cassidy, between him and Marc Bolan. A brother succumbing to the delights of Wig Wam Bam by The Sweet. And the first record I remember that I took to myself. This one.
