Twee # 18 Andy Williams

One of the songs of course and probably the rendition of it, there's something about the utterly controlled channeling of pure emotion by Williams that makes it deeply absorbing whenever you hear it, whether it's the first, the hundredth or thousandth time.


  1. This is head and shoulders above all other versions, clearly, but I must say that I do really like Morrissey's version, even though he refuses to sing the line about his "huckleberry friend," for very very Morrissey reasons, no doubt.
