100 Mavericks # 12 Lou Reed

I'm warming to the idea of a Last Supper of mavericks as this series winds down even as I begin to suspect there may not be enough room at the table for all of those I'd like to invite. Anyway, with that seating place in mind Lou can sit next to Iggy though it might not end well. Lou of course, responsible for so much true, idiosyncratic greatness in his own career but also, as with Iggy, for his immense, immeasurable influence on others. I'll post something from the third Velvet Underground album which probably found him at his most philosophical and striving and achieving a particular kind of decadent beauty.
