Called by Marc Riley, 'the finest living Englishman' and he's onto something. Godard is a true emblem of the individualistic spirit of those early British Punk days. Never achieved anything remotely resembling a hit record, he was nevertheless responsible for several very fine ones. A living example of the value of not following the herd.
