The song title feels apt for today. It's gloomy and wet outside my window though it's still early doors. This is from Buffalo Springfield's aborted and vaguely legendary 'lost' second album Stampede, recordings which are worth tracking down, (I think they can be found on the band's box set though it might be prohibitively expensive). An album sleeve was even shot and pressed with a stand in, (head down in the photo below), for bassist Bruce Palmer who had had to return to Canada on deportation charges. The sleeve was later recreated by The Long Ryders in the early eighties for their debut album Native Sons.
