Another minor milestone. 200 days, 200 different groups / artists. The Kinks more than just about anyone are the band that keep on giving. So influential. You could pick a hundred songs by them with ease.You can hear the prototype here for The 13th Floor Elevators souped up electric jug music. The Big Star of Radio City also covered this at their infamous Music Writers' Convention show in 1973. It could have slotted in very nicely on that album too.
