I'm in a great mood right now. I've finished work for the week. The sun is out. I've had a good walk round town. Chatted to a couple of people I like and used to work with. And now I'm back in my flat listening to this. Double Dynamite blowing hot and cold.
On the way back from town I popped into the HMW in the mall. I'm prone to such behaviour amd putting myself in the general vicinity of temptation. Buting a record I don't need and won't play as much as I should. Generally I resist these urges but today I came home with a Sam & Dave album. It was seriously discounted, housed in a classic sleeve and generally buying Sam & Dave albums must be pretty much beyond reproach. I'm not going to feel guilty about it
I'm listening to it now for the second time today. I listened to it then made my way to the fitness centre, and wallowed n the sauna before I went to the furness centre and the Atlantic hirns were playing in my head as I made my way up the pool and I wallowed in the sauna. There's something alost exhaustoble about Sam & Dave like all the great Atlantic Soul acts.
Their songs exhale and exhale telling tales of love and toil. Sweat and soul. Love, devotion and clinical application. Punctuation and syncoptation. .
