As someone who has always struck me as incredibly 'Big Apple' it's almost inevitable that St. Vincent has a song called New York. Like so much of her output I find it easier to respect than warm to. It has a typically projected theatrical psychosis. She lacks warmth though she clearly has critical wit. Nice tune.
