This morning by complete chance I had rather a chance find. It didn't involve any actual research or investigation. I just clicked on an artist that Spotify recommended to me.
The artists are YOCTO and the album is Zepta Supernova, They are French and sound not unlike what you'd expect a French Indie band to sound like.
Namely Stereolab. There are a lot of bands around who sound a lot like Stereolab these days.I don't care. I wouldn't mind a new Stereolab album every three weeks.
In the Nineties, Stereolab made albims that sounded like the future. Now the future is here. Here is your Stereolab album for September. It's dead good.
