Cult dark psychedelicists of the late Eighties and early Nineties, The Telescopes ,and Minneapolis drone stoners Flavor Crystals combine for a long tare into the void in shades and black polo necks album Acetate Parade.
Apparently 'the soundtrack to a film made in 1983 that was never made,' whatever that means, it's a record that's utterly proficient in the tongue it chooses to speak.
Just made for fans of Spacemen 3, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Loop and Black Angels, Acetate Parade never breaks into a grin. It's too busy maintaining its numb cool. I enjoyed it, though I'd got the idea a few tracks in and didn't listen right the way to the end.
