Minnestota's Owl City are an established Pop phenomenon having been churning records out since 2007.Millions of record sales late,r including Fireflies, a song that was Number One in 2009 ,it seems Adam Young doesn't struggle to pay the rent.
New album Coco Moon shows him doing what he does. Frankly it's rather mainstream and cutesy for my takes. It's lacking in gritty indie idiosyncracy of any description. Still, it has its moments even though they're pop concoctions that I wouldn't mind hearing coming out of a radio, rather than things I'd actively seek down.
