Leading French singer over decades from the thirties onwards. Known for his exaggerated impressions of Maurice Chevalier and the fact that he largely wrote his own songs, hundreds of them, among them La Mer. You also get Boum here which was featured repeatedly in the wonderful Belgian film Toto Le Hero, as a trigger memory for its protagonist back to his youth.
