Today it would seem it's The Day of The Triffids on here. One of my all time favourite bands and coloured by so many personal memories of the times I first discovered and listened to them in the mid to late eighties. Here, to set us off are three selections from leader and guiding light David McComb's only solo album Love of Will, released in 1994.
I first discovered this album yesterday and found it really moving to hear great McComb songs for the first time that I wasn't previously aware of. These rank among the best he ever wrote. The album, if you wish to buy it, will cost you a pretty penny.
