Songs About People # 103 - Woody Allen

A beautifully realised pop record. Named after the regular cries of the old market stall holders directed towards her as lead singer Elizabeth Morris passed them in Soho on her way to work. The band's output over the course of two albums is consistently sweet and tuneful with finely judged lyrics about life and love. Here's a song named after someone who belongs in a category all of their own.
