For me the best song on Piper at the Gates of Dawn. And certainly their most 'Garage' song.
19. The Loved Ones
The highest Australian entry.
18. Syndicate of Sound
Epitomised the One Hit Wonder thing. Everything else I've heard from them was just awful.
17. The Move
Much of The Move's stuff was just wonderful. But this song stands out for me.
16. Love
Love transcended Garage. But they also did it very well.
15. The Standells
Perhaps not their best song but they deserve a high placing.
14. The Shadows of Knight
We're getting to the big hitters here. Also, a song that needs to feature somewhere.
13. The Rolling Stones
Perhaps more than any other British band the archetype for American Garage.

Though here's another one.
