One of the best shows on the radio, Jarvis Cocker's 6 for Music Sunday show is back. He always plays a wonderful, eclectic selection. In this case a song from Nichelle Nichols who played Lt. Uhuru in Star Trek. Also, unlike other members of the cast who made records, she actually had a musical pedigree having sung with Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton before moving into an acting career. A wonderful thing to hear coming out of the radio at you. Here's it is in the original series.
