'Born in New York City on a Monday...' Well actually James Brown wasn't. But never let mere detail get in the way of the legend. A mean, bad man fronting a slick tight black band. Heavy input from Fred Wesley here. The OST for a cool looking Blaxploitation crime drama. This is layers of period atmosphere and cool melodrama.
