250 Albums- An Arbitrary Rumble Through My Record Collection # 90 The Beatles - Abbey Road

'in our little hideaway beneath the waves.'

Abbey Road always feels like a great album to play on Sunday mornings, Time slows down to a slower tread . Joan and Valerie screaming from the galley. Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I heard the news today oh boy As I'm reading this I'm reading that there were multiples stabbings on a train to London last night. The train that I take when I'm travelling down to see my parents.

Not Paul's finest perhaps. Or funniest. He compensated elsewhere with interest. You Never Give Me Your Money. But The Beatles got their songs from the tabloids lying around the studio. Mean Me Mustard. Nothing after all changes. The sun is in its heavens . The Beatles still together. Because the world is blue. It turns me on.
