There's a gnomic authoruty to this band now. Formed in Brooklyn ten years back; they've spread their wings, left the nest, communed with the universe. The record assembles during third track Los Angeles and gathers from there. They're a band that speak to the music of the past but they seem very current, Heading into the future. They have what it takes.
I watched The Triffids documentary Love In Bright Landscapes yesterday. I'll watch it again today and try to write about it on It Starts later in the day.
