I wasn't ever particularly a Hard Rock fan. But Thin Lizzy and Phil Lynott particuarly were always an exception. They always had a fluid, gritty charm. Black Rose was their commercial peak in ,amy ways. They seemed to be on Top of the Pops every other week and it was always gret to see them. Lynott was a one off character. He always walked with an incredible swagger and had fantastic grace.
