Rahill Jamalifard is a miltidisciplnary artist living the dream n upstate New York. She occupies herself betweem portaiture DJ-ing and literature. It all sounds like some kind of boho urban utopian pipedream.
Flowers At Your Feet documents the lived dream and feels like a 40 tea time date at the apartment of a fabulous, snatched tea time date with the cool yummy mum you met at a Manhattan workout.
Hip Hop beats and mid Twenties reflections with a New York equivalent of Lily Allen or Arlo Parks rapping over the top . As with either of these I'd say it knows a lot about the world than it kids itself it does.
This is incredibly pleased with itself, but then why on earth shouldn't it be. In a way it is living the dream and certainly sounds like something to relax and float downstream to. It's Monday morning after all..
