Irreversible Entanglements, my song(s) for the day yesterday was a certain kind of record. This is another record of very much the same school of thinking. 

The school of Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders, Dizzy Gillespie, The Last Poets, Miles at hs most unrestrained, Alice Coltrane and every other offbeat Jazz be bop freak genius you can think of.

Alabaster DePlume is a white Mancunian who sounds like a Black Manhattan. He walks the walk and talks the talk very well n latest record Come With Fierce Grace. It's an album that establishes hypnotic, intense grooves and follows them exactly where they need to go. 

I enjoted listening to it yesterday morning. It establishes a genuine trance, which these kind of records need to do. It has limitations too, which it sets for itself. . Because, inspired and wonderful as it is, it speaks in a tongue that is known to us now,
