Tim Bouvier's exhaustingly titled Perfect Pitch, 100 pieces of Classical Music to bring, joy, tears, solace, empathy inspiration (& everything in between). A personal present to myself. With a chapter from Bouvier for each selection, to explain their value.
We start at the end of the Seventeenth Century with Henry Purcell, and Dido & Aeneas, according to Bouvier, the greatest opera in the English language.
