Onwards. A new book and a new series. I'm highly ambivalent about the Eighties. They ushered in a lot of values and principle that I despised at the time and have done ever since. Most of all as Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan's decade.
Dylan Jones has been waging an almost one man war to reassess those years recently. As an arch Tory I'm naturally not his greatest fan but he does a great job here in chronicling what became of the boys and girls from the Blitz club. Naturally we start with Bowie and Roxy back in 1975. Then the mostly oral history with all the main players kicks in.
