Swiss songwriter Janine Cathrein and her band Black Sea Dahu release, to the best of my knowledge, their second album I am my Mother.
It's a fascinating, serpentine record that seems to combine the murky depths of much Thom Yorke and Radiohead songs as well as the likes of largely I imagine forgotten wonders such as Hugo Largo and A.R.Kane.
This is thoughtful spacious stuff. Just seven tracks here but plenty to explore, relish and come back to.
