A song I associate with the time I first started being a regular at Rosie's about six years back, partly due to the fact that MIA's Paper Planes, which sampled it, was being played quite a lot in there at round about the same time. A younger friend and colleague who I respected in other ways had a go at me when he came round to my flat and found Combat Rock in my collection. He then went on to extol the virtues of The Dickies. I'd stand by The Clash!
