500 Greatest Albums of the 2000's # 203 Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

 

Silent Alarm always struck me as a pretty great thing. A millennial reapproximation of Joy Division and Gang of Four. Kele Okereke sounds a bit shrill to my ears now. But it's an album that's admirably both shrill and glossy.
