Thank goodness for Uncut Magazine. And will we're here Mojo Magazine too. I have met a lot of people who fancied themselves as music journalists. It's not unusual as someone with a deeper chest and finer lungs than me once sang. We all live inner lives where we imagine ourselves as something we're not . Best too not allow bitterness encroach on the joy.
Uncut Magazine introduced me to Juana Molina this year. Her latest album DOGA is coming up on my album countdown for this year in the coming days. In the meantime I'm listening to Un Dia from 2008. Like DOGA it charts myriad paths through explored mountain ranges. The spirit of Magic Realism is still alive and plotting new narratives into the New Millennium .
