Song(s) of the Day # 4,192 Fortitude Valley

People like me have a great time in record shops and precious moments and conversations which make our day which is why we spend so much time in there and relay our experiences there on blogs like this. It's called sharing the love.

Take yesterday. I had a free day. What to do. Hang out in record shops was cerainly going to happen. I'm in RPM with Rich, oe of my very favoyrite record shop guys; a totally amicable bloke in his early fifties. This record sleeve took my fancy and led us into one of those discussions .

Part Of The Problem, Baby by  Fortitude Valley has the kind of record sleeve where you almost hear the record as you peruse iy. A lovely particular kind of lady wuth her arms crossed, wearing a fetching sweater and indie spectacles. The kind of woman you half want to spend the rest of your life with.

And the album itself. Why it's kind of slightly Post C-86 bonhomie. The Darling Buds meet The Popguns on Crystal Crescent. Bah, bagh, bah all the way home and the Clangers on TV and an early tea. Neat, neat, neat. .
