I saw Richard Thompson play live at the Sage in Gateshead earlier this year. It was the first time I'd seen him play live and he's a magical performer and in many ways a magical person.
He's someone whose lived mre in a lifetime than may of us can ever hope to. But remains essentially modest. With his extraordinary gifts and talent.
His album which he was touring ti support is easy grace and insight. His guitar paying is fluent, his band suppirts his vision. It's another fine record.
