Al Stewart is ultimately of course best known and will be best remembered for Year of the Cat. But he has had a long distinguished career. He has a melodic and lyrical flair although some would probably regard him as rather kitsch and I'd have thought he doesn't qualify as hip in any respect. Anyway, this turned up on the jukebox, I put it on out of curiosity and rather liked it.
