Now here's an interesting one. Tune-Yards are great. Cannonball by Breeders is one of the greatest songs ever written. But the overriding question when listening to this is' Why?'Why bother? You can't improve on perfection. The original of this, almost more than any other is the sum of its exquisite, component parts.That odd vocal sound right at the start . The kick in drum effect. The loping bassline. The guitar crunch.T hat incredible, exuberant noise that is also the chorus. You know how it goes. Leave it alone Tune-Yards. You don't stand a chance.
